The back of the arms are hollow and missing a backing. I was thinking of trying to putty it but instead i wanted to try something a little different and far less messy. I ve seen people on their YouTube videos use what i think is called plaplate or the styrene sheets to use as a way to mod piece or add to them. Unfortunately for me i have none but what i do have is the runner to piece for the kit it's self. I was looking at the corner piece and noticed it was nice and flat, and figure ok i ll chop that up and glue it to close the gap.
After gluing a bigger piece of the plastic to the back i just cut the excess off as close to the piece as i could now i ll just file and sand it to shape it as best i can to match the original shape. I did use putty to close up the hand and it worked out very well.
The clock piece sanded down more and shaped close to what the original piece looked like
Front to show you cant see the back plastic sticking out because i shaped it up.So i guess this would be my first dive in to modding if you can call it that. Im happy with the result and i am actually gonna go out tomorrow to pick up some styrene so i don't always have to resort to cutting up the tree,
